On June 12, 2007 Cargo Transit, Inc. became a certified woman-owned business enterprise by the National Women Business Owners Corporation.  Certification can result in a marketing opportunity to develop customer relationships with larger companies that are required to give vendors enrolled in their diversity program a certain percentage of their business. Certification also enables customers to identify, quantify and report the extent to which they utilize woman-owned and controlled businesses as vendors.
